    Push Pull Attachments

A push-pull attachment is a specialized hydraulic forklift accessory that allows lift trucks to handle unit loads stacked on inexpensive cardboard or plastic slip sheets instead of traditional wooden pallets.

    • Engaging the Load: The forklift positions itself so a pantograph-style faceplate reaches the edge of the slip sheet. A bottom gripper bar or jaw clamps onto a small tab extending from the slip sheet.
    • Pulling: Hydraulic cylinders retract the mechanism, sliding the entire load onto flat carrying platens or widened forks.
    • Pushing/Depositing: To unload, the pantograph extends forward, pushing the cargo off the platens while the forklift either stays still or backs away.

    Double Wide Push/Pulls

A double-wide push/pull attachment (also known as a dual or double-width push/pull) is engineered for high-volume logistics where a forklift needs to handle two slip-sheeted loads simultaneously side-by-side.

    Bag Load Push

Handling bagged cargo (such as cement, sugar, grain, flour, or chemicals) with a push-pull attachment requires specific considerations because bag loads are flexible, unstable, and prone to tearing.
